The conditions below apply to all agreements to be concluded with Brussels Makers Market, which is part of Quezaco sprl.
1 - Définitions
Le Brussels Makers Market : marché avec des produits principalement artisanaux et/ou locaux.
La Gare Maritime : La Gare Maritime à Tour & Taxi où se déroule le Makers Market.
Stand : Stand ou lieu physique où le participant propose ses produits.
2 - Inscription & Participation
Participation in the Brussels Makers Market is only possible by invitation of the organization. If the participant registers in more than one market, the organization will check by market whether participation is possible. The organization reserves the right to select the participants for each market itself. Participants may be refused by the organization if they show up on market day without authorization or invitation. Registration on our website does not automatically give you the right to participate.
Si vous êtes sélectionné pour le marché, pour confirmer votre inscription vous devez verser le montant sur le compte ci-dessous en indiquant le numéro de devis ou utiliser le QR fournis en même temps que le devis, attention à bien mentionner le numéro de devis en communication, sans quoi nous ne pourrons retrouver votre paiement. Le paiement devra être sur notre compte dès la confirmation de votre participation afin de la valider. Si vous avez choisi un package de plusieurs dates, le paiement total ( des trois éditions ) doit être fait au moins 1 mois avant la première date.

3 - Horaires
The market runs from 11am to 6pm on Sundays.
Participants can start climbing at 09:00 on Sunday.
Le participant doit se présenter dès son arrivée au responsable de l’organisation AVANT toute installation et avant 10h30. Si ce n’est pas le cas, son stand pourra être attribué à un autre participant. En cas d’arrivée tardive une autre place pourra lui être attribuée.
Le droit à un stand ne sera attribué que lorsque le paiement de la participation aura été reçu. Un bon de commande est toujours adressée au participant après la confirmation de participation et doit être payé à partir de ce moment dans les deux semaines ou au plus tard 1 mois avant le début du marché.
En cas d’annulation les frais ne seront pas remboursés. Seulement un report de date est possible, il ne sera possible de reporter une date seulement une seule fois par exposants et ce au moins 15 jours avant le marché concerné.
If it turns out that the ordered electricity is no longer needed, it is not possible to recover the amount already reimbursed. If it turns out that electricity is still required after registration and payment, it can still be booked after consultation with the organization.
The organization is not obligated to reimburse if the participant is not satisfied, unless it is reasonably justified.
The organization reserves the right to refuse participation at any time.
4 - Dommages & nuisances
No damage can be caused to the material provided. The use of nails and stickers is not permitted. The use of rope, tape, etc. is allowed. The organization reserves the right to recover any damage caused by the participant.
No damage can be done at the Gare Maritime. If this happens, it is at your own risk and the costs are the responsibility of the participant.
If a participant causes problems or inconvenience to the proper performance of the Brussels Maker Market, the organization can (immediately) exclude him from the market (s) without reimbursement of the sums already paid.
The organization is in no way responsible for theft, loss or damage.
The organization is not responsible for any damage or injury caused to participants and visitors, except in cases of intent or gross negligence on the part of the organization. This also applies to damage suffered by participants as a result of delays, mechanical breakdowns, weather conditions, natural influences, strikes, illness or any other force majeure situation.
5 - La qualité des produits
The product with which the participant registers is equal to the article offered on the Brussels Maker Market. It is a question of maintaining a very precise range. If another product is offered, the organization can refuse participation. The participant is responsible for the quality and originality of his offer.
6 - Nourriture et boissons
In the event that food is offered, the requirements of the decree relating to the law on food hygiene (elaboration in the restaurant hygiene code), the decree on the preparation and processing of food products, the regulation ( EC) 852/2004 and the law on beverages and catering must be observed, be taken. We refer in particular to the regulations of the Goods Inspection Service and to the Code of Hygiene for Ambulant Trade.
The participant can only offer drinks (closed bottles / packs) and prepackaged food for home use. The distribution of food and drinks prepared and consumed on site is not authorized.
7 - Emplacement et alentours
The organization will allocate the participant one stand per market..
The participant follows the instructions of the organization regarding the safety of the passage. The central concrete road must remain free at all times, this also applies to all (emergency) exits of companies established at the Gare Maritime.
It is forbidden to hang posters, canvases or other decorations behind the stand / against walls, windows and doors.
A site is 2 x 2 meters including - if desired a table of 2m x 1m.The size of the table may vary depending on availability at the supplier.
Tables should only be placed horizontally or vertically inside the participant's booth.
8 - Conditions légales d’admission
The exhibitor must be in order with the legislation concerning sale on public roads. He must :
- Either be in possession of a trade register authorizing sale on public roads and have a VAT number,
- Either declare the income generated by the sale in his tax return, depending on his status.

The organization reserves the right to refuse or exclude (without reimbursement of sums already paid) companies using commercial methods contrary to the conventional rules of the profession or having been the subject of reiterated and founded complaints from the public or third parties, without needing to justify its decision.
9 - Général
The participant participates in the Brussels Maker Market at his own risk. The organization cannot be held responsible for loss of turnover due to unforeseen events or mandatory legal cancellations.
In the event of total cancellation of the market due to unforeseen circumstances, the participant will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee.
The general conditions can be adapted at any time. Participants will be kept informed.
10 - Marché de Noël - conditions spécifiques aux châlets
Ce paragraphe s’applique uniquement au marché de Noël sous forme de chalets.
L’exposant s’engage à prendre soin du chalet mis à disposition et à le restituer dans un état impeccable. La location est valable soit à la semaine, soit au week-end, selon ce qui a été convenu au moment de l’inscription.
Aucune annulation n’est possible : toute participation confirmée est ferme et définitive. En cas d’annulation, aucun remboursement ne sera effectué, quelle qu’en soit la raison.
Le paiement total des frais de participation doit impérativement être effectué 15 jours après réception du devis afin de confirmer sa présence, et au plus tard le 1er novembre. Passé ce délais, le chalet pourra être réattribué à un autre exposant sans préavis.
L’exposant ne peut vendre que les produits décrits dans son formulaire d’inscription. Toute modification doit être signalée et validée au préalable par l’organisation.
Les exposants recevront une clé et auront la possibilité de fermer leur chalet pendant la nuit. Toutefois, l’organisation décline toute responsabilité en cas de vol, perte ou dégradation, y compris en dehors des heures d’ouverture. Chaque exposant est responsable de la sécurité de son stand, de sa marchandise et de ses équipements. La Gare Maritime ferme au public à 23h et est placée sous surveillance par caméras et agents de sécurité 24h/24.
Chaque chalet est fourni avec une table, une chaise et un accès à l’électricité. Les exposants sont tenus de décorer leur chalet de manière festive et soignée, afin de créer une ambiance chaleureuse correspondant à l’esprit de Noël.
La présence de l’exposant ou d’un représentant est obligatoire pendant l’intégralité des horaires d’ouverture définis par l’organisation. Les chalets doivent rester ouverts pendant toute la durée d’ouverture au public, sans exception. Il est demandé d’arriver suffisamment en avance pour assurer l’installation complète du stand avant l’ouverture.
Aucun produit ne peut être exposé en dehors du chalet. Tous les éléments de présentation et de stockage doivent être contenus à l’intérieur du chalet.
Une fiche technique du chalet (dimensions, équipements, contraintes, etc.) sera fournie à chaque exposant en amont de l’événement.
